The Baylor Bears were one of the first NCAA Division 1 teams to put the FM-150 into their practice plan.  Head Coach Steve Smith saw the potential benefits of the machine, and was quick to see it implemented.

After a short training session with assistant coaches Mitch Thompson and Steve Johnigan, the Bears took the FM-150 and began using the machine for numerous outfield, infield, and team drills.

“We had a young group of outfielders this season, and one of my main concerns was to prepare them with as many types of fly balls as possible.  The FM-150 enabled us to set up routines that would accomplish this,” Smith stated.

“The value of the machine became very evident when one of our first basemen went out on his own after the season to workout in the outfield with the machine.  He played an outfield position for his Cape Cod Summer team and needed to prepare and train for that position.  The FM-150 empowered him to work on every conceivable fly ball in the outfield in a concise scripted routine that he could run by himself!”
