Ken Bagwell was an All Atlantic Coast Conference middle infielder at Clemson University where he led the Tigers in doubles and the ACC in hits in 1972.  After a two year stint in the Chicago White Sox organization he returned to Clemson to coach under the legendary Bill Wilhelm where he had the opportunity to coach third base in Omaha. 

For two years Ken skippered an international baseball team for Athletes in Action, an arm of Campus Crusade for Christ.  After AIA, he coached at Montreat-Anderson Junior College before beginning the Division 1 program at the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Ken has taken on a FungoMan distributorship that encompasses parts of Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Western South Carolina.  On field demonstrations can be scheduled with Ken by contacting him at Ken.

Ken married Libby Benjamin, a former Wake Forest batgirl.  They have three grown children.  Josh is an engineer with General Electric in Greenville, SC.  Drew letters the numbers 83 and 84 cars for Team Red Bull in the NASCAR racing series, and Bethany is a college student.  Ken and Libby reside in Weaverville, NC.
