FM-DPM Bimba Actuator Replacement Policy
Objective
This policy establishes guidelines for handling situations where a customer’s Bimba Actuator fails and must be returned to FMHQ for repair.
Description
The Bimba Actuators Assemblies are now obsolete and we are no longer sending replacements. For customers with these actuators (see photo below), the faulting actuator must be sent to FMHQ for repair.
The New BRT Actuator
The BRT Actuator was developed by engineers that has proven to be a superior solution for the FM-DPM machines and become standard equipment. These actuators have been tested for over 3 years in the field with over 250,000,000 balls thrown.

Full Coverage Customers
Repair / Trade-In Process
Bimba Actuator Is Repairable
Send a return label to the customer to ship the Bimba Actuator to FMHQ for repair. If the Bimba Actuator is repairable, then it will be covered under the Full Coverage Package.
Bimba Actuator Is Not Repairable

Warranty Information
- Warranty: 90 days
- The other throwing mechanism must be sent to FMHQ before the BRT Actuators are sent
- If the BRT Actuator is on backorder, the customer has the option of waiting to send the other throwing mechanism to FMHQ until the backordered BRT Actuator is available.
Standard Coverage Customer Option
Standard coverage customers are not eligible for Bimba Actuator repairs.

- Purchase the Baseball and Softball Actuators.
- Return the original Throwing Mechanism and receive a $100 discount. Keep the Bimba Actuator and Motor as replacement parts.
