Evangel Baseball Head Coach Tim Hulett talks about how FungoMan helps his 2009 Evangel State Championship Team. Tim is also a coach for the Texas Rangers minor league affiliate Spokane Indians.

The Evangel Christian Academy baseball team had an overall record of 31-4 and won their third State Championship in 2009.

As long as young people have been playing baseball there have been coaches who hit baseballs, called fungoes, to players in an effort to teach them the basics of fielding. Those same coaches are also known for standing on the pitcher’s mound lobbing balls to players, with or without the aid of a pitching machine, to perfect their batting technique.

The idea of a machine that would allow a baseball player the ability to practice both hitting and fielding with a level of accuracy that no coach or standard pitching machine could duplicate seemed impractical, if not impossible just a few years ago. more…

Congratulations to the 2009 NCAA Division I National Champion LSU Fighting Tigers! The Tigers, along with the Texas Longhorns, and Arizona State Sun Devils, are all FungoMan customers that participated in the 2009 College World Series.

There are exactly a handful of reasons why young baseball hopefuls will absorb the necessary knowledge required to jump start their diamond careers at the annual Fayetteville High Baseball Camp.

The Purple Dogs have won five state championships since 2003, including the last four consecutive state titles. Fayetteville skipper Vance Arnold is hoping to maintain the strength of the program and cited his camps as a key cog to help bridge the gap between current Purple Dogs and the future generation of players.
